Who is eligible to participate?

The competition is open to students, researchers, and practitioners globally. We aim to foster collaboration across the automated vehicle domain.


Benefits

What are the benefits of participating?

The top 3 teams will receive Certificates of Achievement issued by the IEEE ITSS ET3 Committee. Winners will also be invited to present their work at TRB, IEEE ITSC, or IEEE IV workshops and will be promoted through IEEE ITSS newsletters and social media.


Evaluation Dataset

How is the evaluation dataset handled?

The remaining 30% of the dataset is withheld by the organizing team as a hidden test set. This ensures a fair and reproducible evaluation when we run your submitted models.


Model Types

What types of models are acceptable?

You may develop behavioral models using various approaches, including traditional car-following, machine learning, or hybrid methods.


Leaderboard

What time zone is used for the submission time shown on the leaderboard?

All submission and update times on the leaderboard are displayed in U.S. Central Time (America/Chicago).
